For over 150 years La Traviata has stayed right at the top of the opera favourites’ repertoire. A timeless and classic story of love, drama and heartbreak, Verdi’s gorgeous melodies will be sung by an international cast of singers, supported by the New Devon Opera chorus and a 19 piece orchestra, who are drawn from all over the south west.
The Ugbrooke Courtyard performances (23/24 July) are by courtesy of Lord and Lady Clifford; and, for the 6th year, will raise funds for the Devon Branch of SENSE – the national charity helping the deafblind.
